From Via della Scrofa to the Square: Two Roman Addresses
The history page names two places for Il vero Alfredo all'Augusteo, the restaurant in Rome. Via della Scrofa is printed with no street number. Piazza Augusto Imperatore, 30 is tied to 1950. The two lines sit on one page, and they are not the same address.
The splash prints the square and 00186 ROMA. It does not print Via della Scrofa. One photo alt says Piazza Rosa, which is not the Augustus square. The path from the old street to the square is a change of printed address, not one line copied twice.

Via della Scrofa with no number
The history page prints Via della Scrofa and stops. No civic number follows the street name. No comma introduces a 30. The 30 belongs to the square, in the 1950 sentence, not to this street. A reader who adds a number to Via della Scrofa is adding a digit the history line does not have.
The splash address is Piazza Augusto Imperatore, 30, then 00186 ROMA. Via della Scrofa is not in that block. The English frameset prints 00186 ROME and Tel. +39 06/ - +39 06/. It does not, in those lines, supply a number for the old street. The 2010 frameset prints 00186 ROMA and a longer telephone. The old street stays on the history page.
The note on Via della Scrofa keeps that street apart from the 30. This page sets the two history lines next to the splash. The street has a name. The square has a name and a number. The postcode is on the splash, not in the Via della Scrofa line. The fax slash does not hide a street number.
Ines, 1908, and a missing o
The history page names Ines and the year 1908. One printing on that page writes Alfred II and leaves out the o. The string is Alfred II, not Alfredo II. The missing letter is a difference in the printing. It is not a second person added beside the line. The year 1908 sits with Ines. It is not printed as a street number for Via della Scrofa.
1908 is earlier than 1950. The page uses 1908 for the birth line and 1950 for the square. It does not use either year as a postcode. 00186 remains the splash postcode. The missing o does not appear in the splash caption Alfredo III°. That caption has a degree sign and a full o in Alfredo. The history typo and the splash caption are different strings on different pages.
The note on Ines in 1908 stays with Ines, the year, and the missing o. The address comparison only records that 1908 does not fill the blank after Via della Scrofa. The street still has no number after that year is read. The English title AUUSTEO, missing a G, is a different missing letter and does not number the street either.
Armando, Alfredo II, and Alfredo III
There were Alfredo I, II, and III. The history page names Armando as Alfredo II. That string has the o. It is not the printing that writes Alfred II and drops the o. Both strings are on the history material. They should not be collapsed into one spelling. Armando is a name in the sentence. Alfred II is a shorter printing.
Alfredo III is named with the move to the square in 1950. The splash captions the portrait Alfredo III°, with the degree sign. The history form Alfredo III has no degree sign. The square's 30 sits in the 1950 sentence with Alfredo III, not in the Via della Scrofa line. The old street is the earlier address. The numbered square is the later one.
The note on the three Alfredos follows I, II, and III through the sentences. This page follows the addresses those sentences use. Via della Scrofa has no 30. Piazza Augusto Imperatore has 30. The degree sign stays on the splash caption and does not become a street number. The o stays in Armando's line.
The square and the 30 in 1950
The 1950 sentence prints Piazza Augusto Imperatore, 30. The comma before 30 matches the splash. The splash also prints 00186 ROMA under the square. The 1950 sentence does not print 00186. It does not print ROMA. It does not print ROME. The English frameset is the page that prints ROME. History does not copy that city word into the 1950 sentence.
So the number 30 agrees on the splash and in the history sentence. The city word does not travel with it. History omits the city word. The English frameset prints ROME beside 00186, and the lines given for it do not restate the 30. The 2010 frameset prints ROMA beside 00186, again without a restated 30 in the lines used here. Via della Scrofa remains the line with no number at all.
The telephone is a separate block. The 1950 sentence does not print +39 06/. It does not print 06/68.78.734 or 06/68.78.615. Those digits stay on the 2010 frameset. They are not on the splash. The move in the history text does not finish the fax, which is still a bare slash on the splash. 1950 dates the square. It does not date a number onto the old street.
The alt that says Piazza Rosa
One photo alt on the history page says Piazza Rosa. The alt does not say Piazza Augusto Imperatore. It does not include the 30. It does not include 00186. Piazza Rosa is not the square named in the 1950 sentence. A caption and an alt can sit near the history text and still name a different place.
The splash address block does not use the words Piazza Rosa. The English frameset line quoted here is 00186 ROME, not Rosa. The 2010 frameset prints ROMA, not Rosa. Rosa and ROMA share a start and then differ. The alt is Rosa. The postcode line is ROMA. They are not the same token, and they are not the same place in these printings.
Via della Scrofa is a street with no number. Piazza Rosa is an alt. Piazza Augusto Imperatore, 30 is the address with a civic number. Three different strings. Only one of them is the restaurant address the splash repeats. The alt does not replace the 1950 sentence. The 1950 sentence does not replace the alt.
The moustache is not an address
The history page includes Umberto's moustache. The moustache is part of that page. It is not a street, not a square, and not a civic number. It does not fill the blank after Via della Scrofa. It does not sit between Imperatore and 30. The address lines remain addresses. The moustache remains a detail of the history text.
The golden fork and spoon are already part of the restaurant story. They are not a second address. They do not give Via della Scrofa a number. They do not change Piazza Rosa into Piazza Augusto Imperatore. The story objects and the moustache can be named beside the move, and they still do not alter the printed 30.
The note on Umberto's moustache stays with that line of the history page. This page stays with the two addresses. One has no number. One has 30, in 1950, on the square. The splash postcode is 00186 ROMA. The English frameset postcode is 00186 ROME. Neither postcode is the moustache, and neither is Piazza Rosa. The splash prints neither.
